Welcome!

Our names are Charlie Smith and Luke Johnson, and we are the Recruitment Chairmen of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity here at the University of Missouri. ATO has a long and diverse history here at MU, and we are glad that you are interested in taking the first step to becoming a member of America’s premier leadership development fraternity.

Alpha Tau Omega participates in both formal and informal recruitment. Formal recruitment takes place at the end of August and is a three-day process that allows you to get a look into each chapter here on campus. Each chapter is different in its own way, so this is an awesome opportunity to find which fraternity is best for you.

Alpha Tau Omega spends most of its time recruiting informally. ATO’s recruitment style emphasizes the importance of building strong, lasting relationships prior to the beginning of your new member period. That way, we have the utmost confidence that you will be able to one day serve as a leader in both the chapter and in the community. There are ATO recruitment chairman in St. Louis and Kansas City, who cover those locations, and their job is to host events throughout the summer in those areas. We both also cover all out of state areas as well. Once you fill out the following form, the appropriate chairman will contact you.
